Israel Forum: The War in Gaza

18 Apr @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

In person only
Members only

It is a rare and precious thing in the world in which we live to be able to deeply disagree with someone and to stay in relationship with them; it’s unusual to find a place where we can “disagree without being disagreeable.” Our synagogue, however, is a place where we can disagree – really, passionately, thoughtfully disagree – and still remain in community.

That is why we are holding a series of community forums on Israel and the war in Gaza. This is an issue that so very many of us feel passionately about, while also being an issue on which many of us passionately disagree with one another.

During each of these forums, we will collectively hold space for your questions, your feelings in this moment, and create a safe space for each person to share where they are right now. Please bring both your strong back and open heart if you plan to join us. Also please be aware that these opportunities will be forums for sharing, not debate.

Space is strictly limited, be sure to register. Those who have not registered will not be able to attend the event.
